Well hello dear readers I have missed you terribly! Today is a lovely day in Oxford to skip out on doing homework and do something really important like speak what is on your mind. But wait, I tend to do that everyday. I just have to say I have seen so many things in the past few months that make me say "Wait, what?" and I just have to tell y'all whats been running through my little mind. Here it goes!
How about that Miss America pageant?! Super lovely and talented representatives from each state, but the judges?! What the hell? I'm sorry but Kris Jenner you should not be able to judge class if your daughters have a sex tape. Lets put that in the pageant by laws.
Girls/women in general: Stop depending on guys. Here is some crazy advice that even I need to take, do what YOU want to do. When you are involved in things that interest you, you will meet people with similar personality traits. Odds are that's the guy your gonna want to marry. Not the frat star with excess swag and a trust fund.
Stop hating on the oversize sorority shirts and leggings. We just want to be comfortable while in class, sheesh. Besides, do you really want a bunch of hot Ole Miss sorority girls dressing up every day? No that means you would have to step up your fashion game. We will save the dolling up for the square/grove.
If you have a boyfriend/girlfriend be a doll and don't try to talk to anyone else. Its so annoying when a guy “likes” you but has a girlfriend back home. What am I second string? Thanks but no thanks! Also its super nice to not cheat. Chances are if that person back home has the decency to wait on you, they are probably the person who is either a) really stupid b) actually loves you or c) is possibly cheating on your dumb ass as well. But if they really do love you, don't lose the moon chasing stars.
Just because we are from Mississippi doesn't mean we are idiots; not all of us anyway. Stop with the negative southern stereotypes. However, if you are from Mississippi and you wear cut off jeans, John Deere apparel, and camouflage on the regular, then I'm gonna have to ask you to tone that down. Branch out a little bit. Please for the sake of our state.
Whew, that is all for now! I'm sure I will have to vent soon! Talk to y'all then!
